Bowling clubs traditionally have their bowling tours somewhere in the UK, normally during the bowling season and are generally held ransom to the Great British weather.
We at Algarve Bowls want to encourage clubs to bring their tour to the Algarve during the winter season. We have also identified that organising and bringing large number of bowlers abroad could prove quite a challenge..to say the least.
Taking this into consideration, Algarve Bowls with the support of Pedras da Rainha bowling club in Cabanas, Eastern Algarve have put together a package we have called;
“The Super Eights”
We believe that 8 is a more manageable number for any organiser and with 8 people in a party there is also sufficient numbers to secure discounts and arrange games.
We have also taken into consideration that generally our clients will be mainly senior citizens so therefore there will be no hidden charges. The price quoted will be the price paid, just get to Faro Airport with your bowls.
(Flights are not included but help and advice can be given to arrange them.)
The Super Eight package will be available over the winter period from October 2011
until March 2012 (excluding Xmas and New Year) and will consist of a weeks holiday, transfers to Faro Airport and a minimum of 3 games of competitive bowls
(rinks, triples, pairs) at the Pedras bowling green, recently described as:
"The Best Bowling Green
in the Northern Hemisphere".
Prices start from £150pp self catering in our luxurious Apartment located in the
beautiful border town of Vila Real to £380 in a 4 star local hotel.
(Based on a party of 8 with 2 people sharing a room)
ACCOMMODATION
We ave negotiated deals with several hotels and within the Pedras da Rainha 3 star complex itself. Prices to include, B&B, evening meal, 3 games competitive bowls and transfers to & from Faro Airport.
